We generally have a couple scholarships available each year for up to 50% of the cost of your registration. Scholarship recipients are responsible for paying the remainder. Please fill out the form below if you are in need of a scholarship. Scholarships are sponsored and we cannot guarantee the same number of scholarships each year.
Regarding the references section of the application. Please provide at least 2 references who can speak for you. (They do not have to be a glowing reference – just someone who’s willing to say that you’re going to be around the community for a while; meaning that our investment in you is going to be worthwhile. If you have a partner, they can be one reference, and we need one other.)
While you’re waiting to hear back about your scholarship application, you can go ahead and register and pay 50% of your registration (either as one payment, or on a payment plan). If you are NOT approved for a scholarship, you can get a 100% refund. If you ARE approved, then you’re all ready to go.
Please know that we decide these matters based on FACTS, not personalities. We don’t care if you’re a mean curmudgeon, just so long as we believe that you intend to use the knowledge you gain in your community somehow. We also factor in how much money we have to give.
